As Educators we always have recourse to files be it large or small. Weeither send or recieve files and in both cases we need good file sharing tools to ease our work. There are plenty of file sharing applications that can be used for free and without any registration . The purpose of this post and the other following posts  is to present to you some of the important sharing Tools we need to be using in our daily work .

Host-d.oddcast : Cartonize your Pictures into 3d Avatar

Host-d.oddcast is a great image editing tool . It allows its users to embed their pictures and cartonize them into 3d avatar . I find it similar if not better than Convert to Cartoon , the image tool i have covered in an earlier post entitled Convert to Cartoon : Turn your Pictures into Cartoons . I am one of the biggest fans of these tools as they are very helpful in teaching and students seem to show more interest and interaction when cartoons or avatars are included in a part of a  lesson.

Bit.ly : Shorten and Share Long URLs

Bit.ly is a great utility that  allows its users to shorten  long URLs and then share them with others . In education , tools such as Bit.ly , Sendoid , and Short Text are really very helpful and i think we must be aware of them and use them with our students .
