SpiderScribe: A New Way to Brainstorm

SpiderScribe is an online mind mapping and brainstorming tool. I have decided to include it here in my list of Mind Mapping tools because of its importance in education. We all know how important are the mind mapping applications in teaching and apart from fostering and enriching our teaching they also help our students effectively target their learning.

InCalss is a great app for mobile learners . It allows its users to take text, audio and video notes and not only that it can also help you manage your tasks by keeping track of your schedules and due dates. I think this mobile app should be a must for our students and learners .

YTTM : Search Videos By year and Genre

YTTM which is believed to stand for Youtube Time Machine is a cool website that allows its users to search for videos by year and genre. This is in fact very helpful for history teachers . They can use it to look for video clips to use in a certain lesson.The results are great and to the point but remember this website is still in alpha mode so chances are you might be running into some bugs or disfunctionalities from time to time .

I know students love cartoons and you can just imagine how motivated they will become when you include a cartonized video into your lesson. Now with Cartoonatic , you can create videos on the go and share it with your students or friends .

Similar Site Search is a cool website that allows its users to find sites like their favorites. The concept is that when you have say a web2.0 tool that you like so much and you want to look for similar tools then you can use Similar Site Search to get your query going .
